Jongmin Park

The Korean bass Jongmin Park is currently a member of the ensemble at the Vienna State Opera, where in the last season he sang as diverse roles as Titurel/Parifal, Leporello/Don Giovanni, Banco/Macbeth and Colline/La bohème– to mention a few. Colline also brought him to Royal Opera in London in 2014. Equally at home on the concert platform, Verdi’s Requiem at the Royal Festival Hall with The Philharmonia and Edward Gardner marks a highlight. Jongmin Park is a prize-winning singer, notably the first prize at the Tchaikovsky Competition and the Birgit Nilsson Prize at Operalia, both in 2011, in addition to the Song Prize at the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World in 2015. Jongmin Park har vunnet flere priser, bl.a. 1. pris i Tchaikovsky-konkurransen, Birgit Nilson-prisen under Operalia, begge i 2011, i tillegg til Song Prize ved BBC Cardiff Singer of the world i 2015.
