Georg Källström

Swedish Tenor Georg Källström recently finished his studies at Operahögskolan in Stockholm (2021). The love for opera started when he joined the children chorus at The Royal Opera in Stockholm, and sang in Puccini’s La bohème.

As a student at the Operahögskolan he sang Don Ottavio in Mozart’s Don Giovanni at Wermland Opera spring 2019, and the same summer he was Eurimedes in Orpheus by Telemann during Vadstena Summer Opera Festival.

Summer 2021 he sang Edward, one of the two leading roles in the new opera Zebran (The Zebra) by Tebogo Monnakgotla, with libretto by Kerstin Perski. This opera was a comission by Vadstena-Akademien, and had its world premiere at Vadstena Castle.
