Renowned violinist to Opera by the Fjord - Summer Academy

1st violinist Maxim Brilinsky from Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, one of the world’s most renowned symphony orchestras, will be concertmaster at our 2023 summer academy.

– I’m very much looking forward to Opera by the fjord, where great musical masterpieces meet stunningly beautiful scenery. It's a unique experience, says the famous violinist.

    Renowned violinist
    Maxim Brilinsky is 1st violinist at the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, one of the world’s most renowned symphony orchestras, and will be this year’s concertmaster at our Summer Academy. Brilinsky is born in Lviv in Ukraine and later moved to Vienna and Paris for his studies. He has been 1st violin section leader in Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra since 2014. Maybe you saw him perform live at the televised New Years’ concert from Vienna?

    27th of June – 1st of July: Musicians of the academy orchestra

    Place: Oseana Art and Cultural Center, south of Bergen

    Accommodation: The veteran ship M/S Sunnhordland. A short walking distance to Oseana.
