Einar Stefánsson

Einar Stefánsson from Bergen has performed as soloist and as a member of several ensembles, and also together with renowned pianists such as Helmut Deutsch and Julius Drake.

Icelandic/Norwegian bass Einar Stefánsson started his musical career playing the violin from the age of 5, before he became a member of Bergen's Boy's Choir in 2008.

Stefánsson is currently studying at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, and has been part of Bergen National Opera's talent programme Unge Stemmer/Young Voices since 2016. In 2018 Stefánsson was one of the soloists in the world premiere of Adam Gorb's opera The Path to Heaven in the UK.
